Dental Implant Treatment

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root, shaped like a screw and made of titanium, placed into the jawbone to replace missing teeth. Implants are surgically inserted into the jawbone, after which they integrate with the bone. Once this integration occurs, the implant functions as a natural tooth root and is ready to support a prosthetic tooth.
